Lava Rock and Snowflake Obsidian Mala

• A limited edition 108 mala hand strung in Rishikesh, India with bold snowflake obsidian beads and lava rock.

• Snowflake obsidian is not only stunning but also very unique, as each stone reveals its own translucent banding. They appear almost black but feature a metallic iridescence depending on how you look at them.

• Lava rock is known for its grounding properties and is wonderful for calming the emotions.

Obsidian is a very protective stone and is excellent for removing negativity; it is related primarily to the Root Chakra.  It is very useful to help you to let go of disharmony and shields against negative emotions. Obsidian is a powerful stone for stimulating spiritual growth.

Because it comes from raw energy, lava rock is considered to be a stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment.  It is created from the center of the Earth and therefore is fantastic for stabilizing and grounding the Root Chakra.
